Tuesday 13th December 2022 An orientation day will be held for all Year 6 students transitioning to Mount Erin College in 2023. This day will provide students with the opportunity to meet their teachers and classmates, whilst getting to sample some interactive classes.
Students will be assembled into their allocated classes out the front of the General Administration building from 8.30am, and will enter the Performing Arts Centre at 8.45am for a welcome assembly.
Students will be required to attend in their current primary school uniform, and should bring snacks, a drink bottle, a pen and paper. A BBQ lunch will be provided on the day.
On Tuesday 13th December 2022 , we’ll have our statewide Orientation Day for all the 2023 Year 7 students to attend and to get to know their school.
The main difference between primary and secondary school are things like;
- different subjects
- different teachers
- homework
- having classes in different locations around the school
- specialised subject areas and classrooms
- timetables
- managing their lockers and equipment
- meeting new people and friends
2023 will be an incredibly exciting time at Mount Erin College and we are very much looking forward to meeting you all!
