Production
We have an energetic and highly motivated Drama Department. Through the artistic vision of its staff and their delight in student creativity, each year Mount Erin students become involved in a wide range of extra curricula performance work. This includes:
- An annual College production
- Alice In Wonderland at George Jenkins Theatre Monash in 2009.
- The Wiz at George Jenkins Theatre Monash in 2008.
- Cole Porter's Anything Goes at George Jenkins Theatre Monash in 2004.
- Henry Fielding's Tom Jones at Cube 37, the Frankston Arts Centre, in 2003.
- Howard Ashman's Little Shop of Horrors at the Frankston Arts Centre in 2002.
- The Comedy Festival In 2003. Two of our top class comics made it through to the finals, presenting their Class Clowns act in front of thousands at the Melbourne Town Hall.
- In addition we have been part of The Monash Festival for many years, performing twenty minute plays devised by the students in teams of ten. The students are always responsible for their own staging, including lighting and sound.
- Join the Chorus.This is a biannual State Schools Spectacular Event held at Rod Laver Arena.
