Ambassadors
Year 7 AmbassadorsThe Year 7 Ambassador Program is designed to provide leadership challenges for students as they enter a secondary school environment. Mount Erin College is mindful of the fact that many primary school students are well used to providing leadership within their schools. Mount Erin's Ambassador Program hopes to build on the skills and profile of student leaders by providing students in their first year of secondary schooling with significant leadership responsibilities. Students may apply for an Ambassador position, are interviewed by Year Level Co-ordinators and, should their application prove successful, they are then entrusted with the responsibility of representing the College. Some duties of a Year 7 Ambassador are:
- conducting school tours
- hosting assemblies
- visiting
local primary schools
- assisting
at Open Night
- speaking
to parent groups
- representing
Year 7 students in a range of meetings
- regularly communicating student views to Level Co-ordinators
Enquiries about the program are welcomed. Contact Chris Collins (Junior School Director) for further information.
